Wow, I can't believe how long it's been since I've written on here. Reading my last post, you guys must think I've been in the longest bad mood ever. Actually, I've just been busy. Well, up until about two weeks ago, when I FINALLY QUIT MY JOB.
Woo-hoo! Hooray!
Since then I've been
enjoying all the reality tv shows spending quality time with my kids and getting back to writing and painting. It's been so nice that instead of looking for another job I've been trying (again) to think of ways to make some money from home.
Erin has been very helpful with tips in this department, having mastered it after deciding that 9 to 5 jobs gave her hives and a foul-smelling discharge. One idea she suggested was writing papers for college kids. Brilliant! But I'm wondering, should I sit down with them beforehand, you know, a just-how-stupid-are-you kind of thing. Don't want their professor giving them an F for plagiarism. Unless of course the paper is on physics. Then it will be a how-stupid-am-I conversation.
I think I'll write "am Asian" under the credentials.
One bad part about not working (well, besides the lack of money) is that I'm gaining all my weight back. In case you haven't followed my five dozen Facebook updates about it, I had lost over 30 pounds in the last seven months. Was starting to feel pretty damn cute, as a matter of fact. But, just as I feared, as soon as I quit the pounds found me with a vengeance. I've already put back on ten and counting. Yes, I could cut back my calories. And exercise. Shut up.
Anyway, it's great to be back. I know some of you manage full time careers and children and still put out witty little posts with unnerving regularity.
Some of you were the ugly girls in high school, obviously.

Oooh!Oooh! I don't know why the hell I'm inviting the competition, but doing general transcription from home can net you some bucks, you get to sit on your butt and all you have to do is type whatever comes out of someone's mouth. It doesn't get much easier than that... trust me... it's what I do.

I did the college papers thing when I didn't have any paid writing experience. Once you figure out the time you spend either reading or researching, and then writing and editing the paper, I think it pays about a dollar an hour. Hahahahahaha. Karma.
I do online tutoring. Way easier than writing papers. Mostly.
I guess writers get paid for their own stuff, too, but this still seems like a myth to me...

It took me like 5 minutes to spell exercise correctly up there. Perhaps I need to re-familiarize myself with the exercise as well.
I was not the ugly girl in high school, but I was the dorky guy, which is the relative equivalent. I find ha-ha funniness in the things you write. thank you for making them available to both ugly girls and dorky guys.
I had to do the transcription thing from home, it's not so bad. Really.
